The Weekend Agenda: 6/3/16 – 6/5/16

It’s the first weekend of June, and things look to be pretty exciting. I’ve got a lot of fun stuff on the agenda for the weekend, even a trip to Atlanta to see what should be a super exciting show. Well, super exciting for me.

There’s a lot happening so let’s take a look at what I have on the slate for the next few days…

Regions Field Weekend

(Regions Field looks good in the daytime, but I look forward to seeing it at nighttime as well.)

I don’t have a concert to shoot today so I’m going to enjoy a bit of family time. We’re heading back out to Regions Field this evening for the Birmingham Barons game. We usually go to the day games, but we’re doing this one because, well, fireworks.

That’s right. We can’t resist the urge of fireworks. The Barons do fireworks at the conclusion of every Friday night home game so we’re jumping on that opportunity to check them out. Even without the fireworks, it should be a fantastic evening to spend at Regions Field.

I anticipate a couple of delicious cold beers and hot dogs in my near future.

NXT Atlanta Weekend Agenda

(Looking forward to seeing all these talents at NXT Atlanta.)

I’m hitting the road for Atlanta on this particular day, and it’s not for a concert shoot. I’m going somewhere as a fan, which is somewhat of a shocker, and that somewhere is the NXT show at Center Stage.

For those who don’t know, NXT is the “developmental” brand of the WWE. I put it in quotes because, well, a lot of the top stars in NXT could easily be on the main roster right now. That’s a big reason why I wanted to go to this particular show. I wanted to see the likes of Finn Balor, Samoa Joe, Shinsuke Nakamura, and others before they do get their inevitable call-ups.

I also wanted to see a wrestling show at Center Stage, which is a pretty historic building. This is where a lot of the old WCW Saturday Night on TBS episodes were taped. It’ll definitely be fun seeing a wrestling show in that venue on a Saturday evening.

My seats are also going to be ridiculously good so, yeah, I’m super excited about that.

Sunday, June 5th, 2016

I don’t have anything official on the agenda so I anticipate, if the weather cooperates, a day by the pool before enjoying “Game of Thrones” that evening. It’s a Sunday. It’s nice to not have much planned on this particular day anyways.

That’s the weekend for me. Did I miss something I should be aware of to the point of checking it out? If so, send it my way!
