We’re looking at another weekend on the horizon, and that means another post showcasing what “Live and Groove” has on tap for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Unlike last weekend, this particular weekend isn’t that hectic or crowded. Sometimes that’s for the best.
Let’s take a look at what’s going down…

I actually start the weekend with a big and important job. I’ll be heading to Tuscaloosa and Egan’s Bar to take the annual “Class Photo”, otherwise known as the regulars photo. All the usual suspects that patron the bar are invited to assemble and take a big group photo out in front of that fine establishment. It’ll then be immortalized on the wall at Egan’s with all the other regulars photos I’ve taken over the years.
The photo will be taken around 6:00 P.M., give or take, because nothing at Egan’s really starts on time. If you plan on being a part of it, wear your finest or not so finest. That one’s totally up to you.

I have nothing of note on the calendar for Saturday, although I might make this a movie day. “Everybody Wants Some” will be playing all the way out at Patton Creek, and it’s the only theater in the Birmingham area showing the film.
Since “Dazed and Confused” is my all time favorite film, I feel it’s my mission to see its spiritual sequel… even if that means driving all the way out to Patton Creek. Why couldn’t it have been at The Summit?
Sunday April 24th, 2016
The only thing I’ve remotely planned for Sunday is catching the season premiere for “Game of Thrones”. I’m not sure if I’ll be watching it at home or heading down to Saturn as they will be showing it as well. Other than that, the day is open so no telling what might fill the schedule.
That’s the weekend for me. Did I miss something I should be aware of to the point of checking it out? If so, send it my way!
